THE SOUL OF AOMI

Aomi – Japanese for “the young taste.” Born in 2015 as the little sister of the Hidalgo grill restaurant, Aomi combines Mediterranean tradition with Japanese inspiration. What began with Wagyu tastings developed further: inspired by two trips to Japan, Padron Otto Mattivi created Wagyu raw ham, salami, and pâté – and opened the door to a cuisine where two culinary worlds meet. Today, 11 years later, we serve not only the most tender meat in the world, but also Japanese-inspired dishes with Mediterranean roots. Deep indigo blue, a Japanese garden, shoji walls: a visit to our restaurant is a little journey. Our team will take you on a journey into a world of flavors, craftsmanship, and dedication. Japan Inspired – Mediterranean Soul.
